Splendor Duel

Splendor Duel is a brand new 2-player game with unique and innovative mechanics created by Marc André and Bruno Cathala. Will you be the one to win the crown? Face off against the opposing guild in a race to victory. Capture Gems and Pearls from the common board, gain royal favor and prestige! Players will find certain key aspects of Splendor: the theme of jewelry during the Renaissance, quality equipment and the mechanics of acquiring cards with tokens, allowing you to increase your prestige and your purchasing possibilities. However, Splendor Duel is based on completely new rules and offers new game material: a common board, Privilege figurines and Royal Favor cards. If we find the famous tokens representing precious stones, they are in a compact format and have been added a new resource, pearls. Finally, the cards in the game have multiple characteristics and varied abilities, which will allow you to influence the game (additional turn, bonus token, etc.) and achieve one of the three victory conditions.

Splendor Duel is aimed at different audiences: Splendor fans who will want to discover new game rules and try new tactics, as well as fans of games for two, who will be able to experience a fierce and tense duel in less than 30 minutes.

This is an indie game. No other Splendor products are required to play.
